The Fight Ain't Over Yet

System.out.println(“Hello fellow hardworkers”);

By now i imagine this is how you greet your friends and everyone around you who  probably have no idea what happened to you in the last six months. Well , all you can say to them is “kabhi aram se puri story sunga…”. We are a different being now from the one the day we joined , aren’t we ;)

You exams must be finishing  soon and you must be thinking that 90% of war is won but technically it is just the start  the Mega battle is yet to come “Zhe Placements ” so  all i would say is dont relax . Its easy to say but difficult to do , right ? That is the reason i am here for ! I will be giving you some points / headup as to what’s coming and what can you expect so that you will be prepared.

Let’s get started ,

1. Before the commencement of  CPP(Common Placement Program) make sure you have your all documents /certificates ready with almost 10 xerox (Yes , 10 ! you may be facing 2-3 interviews in a day) of each marksheet (10th , 12th, B.E Certificate and Semester marksheet ).

2.Keep your recent photographs with you (almost 30-40 copies) ,

3.ExamPad !   Last time we were told to bring Notepad and then there was all sort of confusion on the venue as most people thought it as a literal “notepad” , silly .In simple words Exampad is the one you used to take in your school exam to keep your answer sheets. Why will you require that ? Aptitude test will be probably taken on a different venue so it may happen that they dont have computer labs there so your test will be taken on paper which will require a Exampad so that you can comfortably write on it. Simple !

4. Keep a set of white sheets with you for rough work , though you will be provided with one if required on the venue but if you already have those that it will be easy for you to start early than waiting for someone to pass it to you ;) (Just a tip).

5. Chips..Biscuits…DryFruits..Kurkure , yes keep those with you too as you have to stay at the Venue from 8 :00am in the morning to 12:00pm+ in the night and you wont be allowed to go out to have lunch/dinner so come prepared.

6.Keep 3 pairs of formals ready to go.

7.Rainy season is round the corner so water proof yourself when you move out ! (Dont use Dr.Fixit , last year students have told that it is harmful ).

These were just a few casual points which you should keep in mind and keep ready so it doesn’t get messi at the end.(I meant messy , football season yo ! can’t help) :P

I will be coming with more important “gyan” in my upcoming post . Stay tuned !

I’m going to join feb2015 batch. So from now I have 6 months free. What should I do in these 6 months so that it will be sure for me to get any job during placements?

My condition is critical: Ive 58% in 10th and 63% in 12th. . .BE 65% and im june13 passed out. . .(ECE).
Quiet often I think whether I should join CDAC or not?

10th percentage will give you some issues . if you have joined august batch It would be better but for Feb I won't recommend to do so.

How to apply for CPPP Exams?
Please mention the steps.

Not sure if you are talking about CCAT or CCPP. If you are talking about CCPP aka. Common campus placement program then you don't apply for it. Its only for CDAC students.
And if CCAT is something you are thinking about then CDAC.in is the place you should look for however I can also tell you the do's and don'ts. Just reply to this comment if you need further explanation.
